We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Murray to Pediatric Associates!  Dr. Murray grew up in Fort Valley, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies in visual media and technology at the University of Virginia, then worked in 3D animation and special effects for a post-production company in Washington, DC for two years prior to starting medical school. She completed her medical degree and pediatrics residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, VA. She worked in a federally qualified health center on the Eastern Shore of Virginia for 6 years after residency.

During medical school she met her husband Brad, who is a Charlottesville native. After their stint on the Eastern Shore they relocated to Charlottesville in 2022 to live and work near family. Dr. Murray enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has a particular zeal for helping new parents adjust to life with a newborn. She is a certified lactation specialist. She is passionate about pediatric nutrition counseling and food equity. She also has a specific interest in rashes and other pediatric skin disorders.  She has four children and can frequently be spotted in C’ville and surrounds pushing two or three in a stroller with at least one on her back. She lives in Earlysville and enjoys running, hiking, biking, paddle-boarding, gardening, and cooking.
