Kelly earned her first nursing degree from the University of Southern Maine.  She worked as an RN at Pediatric Associates for six years in the 1990s.  In 2002, after earning her Master’s degree in nursing and nurse practitioner degree from the University of Virginia, she returned to Pediatric Associates.  Kelly specializes in adolescent medicine with an interest and certification in mental health.

Kelly volunteers with the American Belarussian Relief Organization and the Boys Scouts of America.   She is Wilderness First Aid certified and enjoys spending time on the trails around Charlottesville with her chocolate lab, Stella.
