Jennifer (Jenn) Fontenot grew up in Charlottesville, Virginia. She attended UVA and the University of South Alabama for her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing. She worked as an RN in the NICU at UVA Children’s Hospital for fifteen years before becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and joining Pediatric Associates in 2017. She loves taking care of children from infants to early adolescence. Jenn is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is especially interested in providing newborn care and offering lactation support.

Jenn and her husband, Mark, have four children, Andy, Liam, Nate, and Lilly. They enjoy hiking, kayaking, and traveling as a family. In her alone time, she enjoys reading and taking long walks on the beach.
